Back home again. I enjoyed The Master a lot more the second time around. Maybe it was because I was finally seeing it how it was meant to be seen--in the 70mm that it was shot in--or because I was looking at the late Philip Seymour Hoffmans performance in a new light. Who knows? I will say this, though: if you were ever going to make an unofficial biopic about the late L. Ron Hubbard (and thats what this was, make no mistake), this is about how it might look. Somehow I suspect that there are gonna be certain jobs that P. T. Anderson, Paul Haggis and Leah Remini may not be getting in the future...
