Back home and exhausted.......... even dozed off while driving!!! Thank God for those rumble strips along the edge of the road!!! Woke us all up right away!!! But, home safe. And, I must say, the day went very well. Many, many thanks to Gina Mattera-McCauley for a professional yet personal job at the White-Cool Funeral Home......... many, many thanks to the Reverend Lea Guiney, for her services and a great job!!! Everyone was talking about how well the services and messages were. And, I am truly blessed by many, many friends and family whom showed up to provide much love and support. I must say that I got a huge visit from Rich, Meghann, and Gabby!!! They drove all the way from down Washington D.C. way just to attend the service!!! Talk about true, genuine friends!!! And I was so glad to meet Miss Gabby!!! She is a doll!!! Most of the people there today were people either Mom or I or both have known all our lives. People whom have stuck by me through thick and thin over all these years. And for that I am truly blessed and thankful. A huge shout out for the Springboro EMS workers and volunteers whom prepared a wonderful meal. Everyone ate well and ate food that was very good!!! Cant thank them enough, especially Moms long time friend, even back as far as high school, Helen Allen. Helen has been both Moms friend and my friend for many, many years. A true asset in our lives. Thanks everyone............... love you all.
