Back home from our 10-day vacation with lessons learned: 1. I love GPS. Not only did it guide us where we were going, it also detoured us around tie-ups in Chattanooga. Been going through there for 40 years, and never before knew how to get around that everlasting road construction. 2. With Bose speaker, smart phones and blue tooth, family members get to share with each other. In front of the fireplace at the cabin, we listened to some mighty good music--Sara Millers alternative, Bills 80s, my jazz. On the road, we listened to audio books. 3. I love shopping in small towns. People are friendly and appreciative of your business. And, you often find items and prices you wont get in the city. 4. Ill never again go away for Thanksgiving unless all my kids can go. We had fun, but I missed Bethlizabeth Ronie and Joey way too much. 5. A Tennessee Bee Stinger is a powerfully good drink.
