Back in 1993, a woman in Bismarck, North Dakota managed to track down her birth mother, who gave her up for adoption more than 40 years ago. They grew pretty close, until the mom died earlier this year. And in her obituary, it said that reuniting with her daughter was the highlight of her life. Then another woman found out about the obituary. It turns out she was given up for adoption by the same woman. And even though she knew her name, shed never tried to contact her. But when she realized she had a sister, she decided to get in touch. After the two reunited several months ago, they started wondering if they had other siblings. So they contacted the agency that handled their adoptions, and found out about three more siblings. There was another sister and two brothers. Earlier this month, all five of them got together for the first time ever. And DNA tests came back proving theyre all full-blooded siblings. The weirdest part of the story is that one of the sisters actually knew one of the brothers before all this happened. She works at a Walmart and he’s a frequent customer.
