Back in 2002, i (quite embarassingly) used to play this F1 fantasy league game. Felipe Massa, in his rookie season at Sauber, was my pick to replace Kimi Raikkonen who went to McLaren and became too expensive for my stable of drivers. Never would little 16 year-old me have expected to end up in a line that would have me working with him year after year. There are, i would say, a few key moments in my young career that were absolutely instrumental in taking me to London, and the guys been part of half of them. And its almost ironic that in his place will be the iceman, the guy that made room for him in my little fantasy driver line-up 12 years ago. Needless to say, i will be super sad this weekend when he does his last race with Ferrari. Eight years is a long time, especially when it comes to a close at your home GP. Hope the guy does well.
