Back in 2005 when I heard Joel Turner had won the world championship, I was over the moon! Since that day, 2 beatbox related goals I set myself for the future were 1. Win a Australian championship 2. Represent Australia in a world championship. One of my main objectives since my last two years of battling was to seal a championship win so I would be eligible to enter the worlds. I just got word today that I will be taking the spot of Spillage in representing Australia, as he is unable to make the dates listed for worlds next year. I cannot even express how I am feeling now. The one thing I have been chasing for so long and after a long awaited 9 years it is finally here! I may not have the Australian title but representing my country in the world championships I will take that with open hands! This time I will use the time I have very effectively to be the best beatboxer I can be and come in a completely new Z-Man then what I was at the Australian championship! I am ready for the challenge and journey ahead of me! Bring on Berlin! Will be doing regular posts on this journey. New direction - Road to world championships (166 days out)!
