Back in 2012 I first heard about the plight of a little abandoned stray in Greece who loved high places, especially car roofs as can be seen in the top photo. His story and looks were straight out a Disney movie and after our volunteers visit in 2012 fate conspired to bring him together with his perfect family and lovely mum Michelle in Glasgow later on that year and for him to find his true name ... Oscar :-). Over the past two years Oscar has become a poster boy for Elpida in Scotland and his story has touched many hearts and allowed many of his friends still at the shelter to be helped. A dog of many talents, the photos on the bottom right show Oscar in his role as both secret agent and Greek Doggie Ambassador to Santa :-) One of the most loved and loving dogs I have ever met and if you are ever lucky enough to meet him you will know why. Thank you for all your help wee monkey man/secret agent/ambassador, you have come so far from that little lost dog on the car roof and are a true story of hope and success against all the odds :-) xxx
