Back in December 2011, when M.A.D (Mad About Drama) was first formed, our biggest concern was to pool resources together to put up a public show at a city auditorium. Every thing else was just another wild reckless dream. But just like every other young performer we wlso secretly hoped that someday soon, we will be taking the stage at the Mecca of Indian theatre. December 2012, it was an year, and we had already taken a giant leap forward with A GOOD PLAY. It was so close, but yet not there. We missed the Mecca by meters, literally. But this time, we were determined, to give all that we have. We knew we had to make it. And here it is. After waiting for two and a half years, this is it. MAD ABOUT DRAMA has been invited to perform WITH LOVE, CALCUTTA at the most presitigious theatre venue in the entire country as a part of THESPO AT PRITHVI. 1st and 2nd July, two back to back shows at Prithvi Theatre, Mumbai, 8 pm onwards. If you are in Mumbai during that time, or if you have friends and familiy living there, please let them know. We want each and every one of you to come down and be a part of how a few young hopeless rebels live their dream on stage. It has been six years, since TIN CAN performed VIDEO in 2008. After six years, an youth based group from the city will be performing on the stage of Prithvi. I am glad we could give back so much to the city which gave us the love that keeps one going despite every thing. And for every one who ever called us pointless, mediocre, overhyped, overtly political and every other adjective baseless criticism resorts to, heres a humble reminder, that we still have two qualities that will always make us stand out.
