Back in bed today. Yesterday something in my eye went south and the surgeries we have done to this point failed. My eye pressure shot from 3 to 40 making me sick every time I would stand or try to walk. I ended up throwing up at work 4 times and tried to get home where my nausea meds were. I had to pull over 3 times to throw up on the side of the road. Once I got my meds in me I ended up throwing up one more time for the night. In talking to the Dr this morning, hes thinking about going in next week for the big surgery. Instead of doing 2 or 3 more surgeries, were going to try to do it all at once. Change out my lens, do something to the torn membrane (either cut it up or add a synthetic ring to spread it back out) and add a synthetic drain to my eye. My eye is healing too fast to let a standard trabeculectomy work. Here we go...
