Back on the horse, big time, on Friday night. We grilled up steaks, using a neat clove/bay leaf/pepper/nutmeg/salt rub, had homemade risotto with bacon and mushrooms, roasted asparagus, and served a bottle of Doubleback Cab. Just a great meal and it was like working a busy restaurant line right before we served. Zach and Laina both worked this meal into being throughout the day. Topped it off with a great night on the patio and deck as we harassed each other over Trivial Pursuit. I’m tellin’ ya, we envied nobody in the whole wide world…
