Back to Guilin... quick synopsis of the last few days: - Lake cruise - Guilin is made up of 4 lakes and 2 rivers, with many. many bridges that imitate bridges from around the world. Cormorant fishing also on display - Local noodle dish for lunch - best meal yet - South China Pearls - gorgeous, but unsettled by the following of sales peopler behind you. (V common in China!) - River cruise up the Li river to Yang Shao - more beautiful views of mountains, rivers and water buffalo - Shopping! Go the markets - Liu San Jie Impression Light Show. Lights, music, boats, actors, action - Yang Shao countryside, including a visit to a farm house that now has the 12th generation living in it. The grandmother was so welcoming, and even fed us pomelo - Moon Hill - a crescent shaped hole through a mountain - YangShao Tea Institute: a formal tea ceremony where we learnt how to hold our tea cups and how to properly thank someone for tea (no comments required!) Early morning rise due tomorrow - were flying to our final destination of Shenzhen before the whole posse arrive for some Nheu family fun Stay safe all :)
