Back to Tehachapi tomorrow, Farmers Market on Thursday. Featured recipe: Barbeque Pork Sandwiches - 1 large onion, sliced; 3 lbs pork butt, rinsed & dried. 1 cup Watkins Original Barbeque Sauce 1 cup Watkins Chicken Broth ½ cup yellow mustard 3 tbsp tomato paste Juice of 1 lime Watkins Sea Salt Watkins Pepper Place sliced onions in a 5 quart slow cooker. Season the pork with salt & pepper and place in slow cooker on top of the onions with the fat side up. In a bowl, mix together barbeque sauce, chicken broth, mustard, tomato paste, and lime juice. Pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours. Remove pork and wait 5-10 minutes before slicing. Serve on hamburger buns.
