Back to coconuts, and how. Yesterday, as a PCA board-nominee I took part in a marathon session - strategic planning and board meeting - from lunch to 9 pm. And we have two follow up sessions, this afternoon, and Monday afternoon. The discussions covered the whole range of issues - cocolisap, post Yolanda rehab, enabling empowered and entrepreneurial coconut farmers organisations, research and development, utilisation of coco levy earnings, and organisational transformation of PCA. Now, if only NBI will give me clearance, so I can take part not just in the discussions but also in the decisions.
