Back to the Basics!! Many times we are trying to build something, accomplish something, achieve something, secure something, reach some goal, by trying new strategies, new angles, new connections, new plans, ALL of which, in itself, is not bad. There are just times, when all we need to do is go back to the basics. The basics of prayer, fasting, reading/studying the Word, seeking the Kingdom of God and sitting quietly listening to the Holy Spirit and working of basic principles. Going back to these simplistic, basic measures can cause us to accomplish so much more than what we may sometimes try to do or cause to happen, via our own strength and our own efforts. Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. ~Hebrews 2:1 (KJV) Since all this is true, we ought to pay much closer attention than ever to the truths that we have heard, lest in any way we drift past [them] and slip away. ~Hebrews 2:1 (AMP) But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these things taken together will be given you besides ~Matthew 63:33
