Back to the Basics of Air and Oxygen! Air is probably one of the most underrated and unthought-of nutrients. Most of us don’t even think about it until were “out of breath” and even then many of us still may not think about its blessing. Remember though, without it we would die in less than three minutes. Yet with it, our cells can carry Oxygen throughout our bodies and provide us with the necessary energy needed to move think and feel. When we breathe we take in air by using our respiratory muscles, the most common ones being the diaphragm, the external intercostal, and the interchondral part of the internal intercostal muscles. This action increases the atmospheric pressure within our lungs rushing in air to fill the space. With an opposite affect we exhale the converted carbon dioxide. It is a beautifully simple yet extremely important process for moving oxygen into our system. As air rushes down the large trachea and into the lungs it is warmed and moistened. The colder and dryer the air is, the more energy that is needed to warm it. The air is then passed through tiny tube-like structures called Bronchioles until it makes its way to the Alveoli. Blood vessels known as capillaries, carry the blood past the Alveoli which then supply the cells with new oxygen. Oxygenated blood then is sent from the Capillaries in the lungs through bigger and bigger blood vessels until it reaches the heart which is then sent throughout the rest of the body. The power station of the cells is called Mitochondria. This is the area in which oxygen is converted into carbon dioxide. Through a maze of blood vessels/veins, the hemoglobin returns the carbon dioxide through the heart and into the lungs. Carbon dioxide is then released back out as you exhale and then process is then repeated. Isn’t Science Fun? Here at h3Therapy we’re crazy about oxygen and fully understand that each and every one of us is in dire need to put this wonderful nutrient back into our systems. If you keep up with our posts and links we all should understand that we are in a drastic oxygen declining environment and with that comes a surplus of low oxygen loving virus and disease. Oxygen is to our bodies what rain is to the desert. - REPAIR AND DEFEND YOUR BODY - - WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU - - TALK WITH US - Direct Message - Comment - Share - Like - - GIVE US A CALL AND ASK ABOUT SPECIAL OFFERS BY USING THE KEYWORD (Facebook) - (206) 794-8229 - #life #hope #hyperbarics #naturalhealth #healthchat #americanlung #abbestellung #allergyseason #25breaths #wenatchee #seattle #science #oxygen #healthcaredesign #healthcaretechnology #mesothelioma
