Back when I returned to diving after a 7 year absence in 2012 i was pretty keen to quickly get involved in cave diving as it was something I hadnt done in the 90s and early 2000s. One of the things I went looking for on YouTube was some instructional videos on basic reel and guideline use to a disciplined standard acceptable in technical diving and although I found a couple, there werent many and few that really got into the explanation of how to do wraps and tie offs. So when I starting producing videos it was in the back of my mind to do one from pretty early on, but I didnt get around to it for a year and a half. Finally Ive managed to put the time aside to do it properly so here it is. A demonstration video on basic reel and guideline use. I hope this will benefit those who are thinking of making the transition into technical diving or who have no desire to do technical diving but would just like a couple of pointers on laying line to add to their skill set.☺
