Back when I was 14 or 15 I was hanging with some friends and the conversation turned to getting older. I said Shit, man. I dont wanna live to be old! One of them responded Well how old is old to you? I replied I dont know...35? 40? We all laughed and continued on but I held that thought for most of my life. I simply didnt expect to be around very long and I lived my life accordingly (usually with a beer in my hand). One day I woke up and realized I was over 40 and still around. Quite the shock, really. It wasnt until recently that I decided I needed to get my shit together lol. Someone special to me woke me up and set me on a path to something better. Im busily trying to make up for lost time but its not easy to make up for 30 years or more of not caring what happens and old habits are hard to break. Im doing the best I can around here and wont neglect my duties to myself and my family and just hope its not too late. Music IS my first love but certainly not the last, I hope to find some way to make a living at this or a related field but Im just not sure what direction to take. Ill figure something out eventually and again...hope its not too late. Not sure exactly why Im writing this just felt a need to see my thoughts spelled out in front of me, I suppose. Anyway...Im gonna go for a walk, clear my head and see what happens. Much love to all my family and friends. Yall have a great fn day!
