Back when Reagan was the President, he scared me. I always voted Democrat and I thought he was just a tough guy, bully type. Now that I have put more living years on my lifetime resume, and witnessed more and more of the degradation of the fabric of America, woven to be strong against the ills of the world, I have come to realize our Presidents need to be strong men with character and intellect. I now appreciate Reagan for who he was and how he led America more than I ever did before. Keep in mind that no man, no one, is a GOD or an absolute example of goodness and righteousness. There are no people like that anywhere in politics. But, I have come to admire this man, and several others going back over the length of Americas history, none of them having served since Reagan. And I voted for all the Democratic candidates! That Amish country saying is really true, at least in my case, but unfortunately, not for all: We grow too soon old and too late smart.
