Bad apps, or bad parenting? Either way, Apple is paying up to settle a federal case over in-app purchases made by youngsters. The payment of at least $32.5 million dollars covers the amounts that children had their parents shell out to buy virtual pet food, gems or other items while playing games on mobile devices.
