Bad...but could have been worse. On the bright side, we need the rain! Areas along and west of I-35W still below freezing and getting more ice this AM, although temps will slowly inch up to freezing by early afternoon. Worst is well west (Jacksboro-Decatur-Weatherford-Granbury) where its in 20s. Areas north of US380 actually will hold near freezing, so not as bad there, and east of DFW is 32 or above so its all rain as expected. Temps slowly creep up today but only into the mid 30s....and rain may actually start tapering off to patchy rain and drizzle. That is expected to continue all night into Friday as temps stay at or above freezing tonight and only in the upper 30s tomorrow. No ice is anticipated. Friday night we get another big piece of energy with decent rain (thunder) more widespread, exiting early Sat AM. We should see some sun and low 50s Sat PM before a strong COLD FRONT blows in Sunday. It will turn windy and cold again with highs only near 40and stay cold into Monday before bouncing back Tuesday.
