Bad customer service is such a waste of time for everybody! I wanted to grab a quick cup of coffee at a gas station. The coffee station was so unorganized and I should have just left then. But, I grab a cup, apparently the wrong cup in which the employee very abruptly told me so. I then grab the correct cup, only to find that this cup was dirty. I proceed to throw away both cups and then grab the correct, clean cup. Finally, I head to the register and the employee asks me how many cups I threw away. I answered 2 cups, in which she then rang up my actual coffee plus and extra .75 per cup that I threw away. Well, hmm, I think my temper went from zero to 60. I proceeded to tell her that I would be more than happy to pay for 1 cup at actual cost. She could go to the office and pull out her order guide and we would figure the cost of the actual cup. The other cup was dirty and I was not paying for it. That was their problem. So, she said I would have to wait. I asked her how long I would have to wait so I could charge her for my time. No reply. So, while Im waiting I walk back over to the coffee station. Theres no sign about charging for extra cups. I mean if you are going to charge extra for something, wouldnt you need to post about it? So, I go back to the counter and ask the employee where it states at the coffee station about charging for extra cups. No reply. I asked her how long she thought it might be before she pulls her ordering guide out. She rolls her eyes...really???? She then says if Im not going to pay for my coffee then she would have to call the police (keep in mind I never said I wouldnt pay for my coffee). I grab my phone and show her the sherriffs dept number and said this might be quicker since Im charging them for my time. She rolls her again and I told her she could keep all of it since Im awake now. Im all about someone proving a point when necessary, but to just be an ass...just aint gonna fly.
