Bad, irresponsible development plans continue to get rubber-stamped approval, in part because of this sort of poor reporting (nothing more than a glorified Press Release for the city). Valid questions and points (not claims) with serious implications were ignored in their entirety. Lack of public notice regarding either the Planning Commission or City Council meetings (if the City can inform me Santa is coming...I think they could have posted notice regarding a project of this magnitude), an obsolete, decade old EIR that doesnt cover new concerns such as the drought, a project reliant on conditions that are unsustainable and no longer exist, and the lack of the required permits should be clue that a larger story is not being reported. Shameful.
