Bael let out a small sigh as he walked through the palace that the Order called home. He was restless, and found that no matter what he did, he couldnt relax or stand still. Maybe it was because he knew he was in trouble with Atazoth, or perhaps it was from the conversation with Kaiah about Allie and the rest of the Order. Right now though, he didnt care on which it was. Both aspects were plaguing his mind. Soon, he found himself standing at the castle gates. Holding his left hand out, he channeled his powers until he heard a click. Smiling as the locking mechanism in the door unlocked, he pushed the gate open and headed out into the barren, dark lands that they had to call home. Willing the door shut and locked, his feet carried him as his mind wandered. The area he was in reminded him of times of his past and childhood. Those were places he didnt like to revisit, but he occasionally found himself there. His mind circulated over the time he had spent with his mother, Raija. He was sure that these memories were resurfacing because of Kaiah last night. He remembered a time where he was kept secret from the world, and for a while, from his own father, Zepar. Raija had trained and unlocked his powers so that he could infiltrate the Order. Originally, she said it was so she could rekindle with his father. Turned out that was a lie. She had left him bloody and broken outside of the palace doors. If it wouldnt have been for Dorian and Allie, he would have died. Even his own father, who knew who he was then, had refused to help him. It wasnt until he healed and fought his way into the ranks of the Order that anyone other than the two that helped him, noticed him and payed attention to him. He had to fight for everything he had, and he was proud of what he was able to do on his own. Though once he was an official member, that was when Raija wanted him to run her information so she could try and get back at his leader for what she had done to her and Zepar. She wanted to use him and jeopardize his life just to get back what she thought she deserved. That had almost gotten him killed plenty of times. It had gotten him punished more times than he could count. Its why he wasnt allowed in certain areas anymore, and why he technically shouldnt leave the compound that he was confined to. But he was still young. He couldnt stand being in one place and one place alone. Though their realm wasnt flattering, he still loved to roam. Chewing on his thumb nail again, he stopped walking as he came to a river. I wonder what its like in the other realms... He muttered to himself while still lightly biting at the corner of his nail. Sitting down on the bank, he just watched the water flow as he tried to ease his mind off of the past. And off of the idea of visiting any other realm besides this one. After all, the only way he could, was if Allie had allowed him to since he didnt know exactly how to open portals yet. That was one ability that was highly neglected over the years. Maybe one day... He muttered with a sigh as he laid down and stared at the sky for a moment before he closed his vibrant emerald eyes.
