I recalled this song today and was surprised to discover it has been penned by Anand bakshi. For once, Laxmikant Pyarelal didnt compose music for it but Kalyanji Anandji. And what splendid music it is; it stays with you long after you have heard the song. This is from the 1967 movie Aamne Saamne with Shashi Kapoor and Lata Mangeshkar in title roles. Mohammad Rafi and Lata Mangeshkar have sung the duet for them.
