Bahahahaha! Working in my office behind my house and Logan comes in. Lo:mom what are you doing? me: working Lo: you always work me: is that a problem? Lo: no but I hope you get caught up before school starts next year. me: why Lo: because I was reading this thing that said 5th grade is when you develop your self esteem and healthy relationships (he is 10 by the way) me: ok? Lo: well if your always working and we dont get a good relationship then all kinds of bad stuff can happen. I can become a drug addict, run away from home go to jail. The possibilities are endless. me: oh no well I dont want that for you, what can I do to help make sure you have good self esteem and healthy relationships. Lo: you should take me to Bull Creek. me: logan are you just trying to get me to take you to the water? Lo: yea, pretty much. Oh the conversations we have. Taking the rest of the day off to spend with the kid. Because Lord knows his self esteem and healthy relationships are so important. I would not want him to be homeless or in jail on my account. He is pretty smart and I am quite sure there is some kind of lesson in this. :) have a great Friday friends! Go make some memories.
