Bahraini Human Rights Delegation Meet Visiting US Delegation Bahraini human rights delegation, amongst Mr Ahmed Hojeri ,Presid.of BHRS , Dr. Rola AlSafar Cord. of Be Free Campaign, Dr.Nabil Tamam, of the medics, Sh. Maytham AlSalman of Interfaith, Mr Abdulqader AlShehabi of Bahrain Workers Union, Lawyers Dr.Hasan Radi,Mr. Mohamd Ahmed and Mr. Jalil Alaradi representing defense lawyers, ex-prisoner of conscience Mr. Ali Jawad, and Mr. Abdulnabi Alekry BHRO Cord. for International affairs , met US State Dept. visiting delegation at Bahrain Transparency Society( BTS). The US delegation of Deputy Sec.of Satate Dept., Ms. Ann Paterson, Sec. of State Asst. for Democracy & Human Rights, Mr. Tom Malnowsky,US Ambasador to Bahrain Mr. Karidjsky, Mr. Jason Jeffreys, Sp.Asst. to Ms. Patterson, Ms. Rose Jackson, Sp. Advisor to Mr. Malnowsk y, Ms. Stephani Hallett, Counselor for Political & Economic Affairs at US Embassy, Ms. Sarah Grow, Bureau of Democracy & HR at ME Office of State Dept.and Ms. Cathy Clum, Political Officer at US Embassy. At the onset of the meeting Mr. Alekry welcomed the US visiting delegation and offered to Mr. Malnowsky, BHRO trophy, in appreciation of his defense of HR during different posts at the public and official sector. The Bahraini rights delegation expose of the political , legal ,and institutional environment, in which systematic and comprehensive abuses of human rights in Bahrain are committed, including extra-judicial killing. Systematic torture up to death, homes breakthrough usually at dawn, arrests , mistreatment of detainees , denial of fair trial, with integrity and transparency, the excessive verdicts against defendants , including women, children and elders the miserable prisons conditions, including denial of regular relatives visitation, necessary medication, education for enlisted students and access to information, sectarian discrimination, stripping off citizenship, mass dismissal ,and denial of politico-economic and expression rights on sectarian and political background. Then, every Bahraini delegate exposed special dossier , which included , arbitrary arrests and detention, unfair trials, extra-judicial killing , torture , hatred campaign against major Bahraini component, , sectarian discrimination, targeting the opposition, coercive acts against boycotter of the elections, targeting medics , journalists, clerics - HRD, unionists and opposition figures, the farce of the elections, and then testimony of prisoner of conscience. The Bahraini delegation demanded US to undertake its responsibility as friend of both the Bahraini people and government , to urge The Government of Bahrain to be committed to The Bahraini Constitution, and the international treaties, conventions and norms, to terminate the security policy which incurred great material and mental losses on Bahraini people , and to take immediate measures to address the rights dossier, which contribute to concluding political settlement of the crises , which is the cause of human rights abuses and the great suffering of Bahraini people The US delegation forwarded several questions and quarries, which the Bahraini delegation answered and explained with transparent and objectiveness Bahrain 5th Dec. 2014 Bahrain Human Rights Observatory (BHRO)
