Baia Mare - ecarisaj. The picture that we publish was taken inside the public kennel of Baia Mare in northern Romania. Unfortunately this is representative of the majority of the Romanian public shelters, where the animals are locked up waiting to be killed. In this case the overcrowding was the cause of death of the dog in the picture, torn to pieces by its pen fellows.
