Meanwhile, regime warplanes conducted several overflights over Daraya as they bombarded the southern neighbourhoods of Damascus. Helicopters also conducted overflights during the day. This morning, a military convoy made up of military vehicles, tanks and troop carriers entered the city via the eastern entrance. Later, the convoy withdrew to its earlier locations outside the city on the eastern entrance checkpoint and Al-Mazzeh Military Airport. ***Martyrs*** Saifeddine Abu Muhammad, FSA fighter killed in action *** Humanitarian situation*** Over the past nine months the city of Darya has been surrounded by tens of regime checkpoints forming a tight siege and resulting in dire shortage in all the necessities of life amid a complete blackout of electricity and communications.
