Olivier Rousteing takes us inside the world of 70’s speed racing and the adonises of athleticism for Balmain’s SS15 menswear collection. The range, crafted predominantly from leather, is a textural explosion of colour and incorporates everything from an intricately made Navajo-inspired poncho, crafted from woven leather, bones and beads, to sports-luxe motocross tops and track pants. Sandals in the form of toeless lace-up military boots, leather biker jackets and super sharp tailoring create a sense of raw masculinity, whilst helping to maintain the athletic aestheticism of the collection.
