Bam - Day 28 and another hikoi in the Redwoods. First time weve walked the red track in about 8-9 years and even with the gentle rain, it was great. Just a nice gentle trot. Had more whānau hook up with us this morning, so awesome you fullas for supporting us and the kaupapa. Managed to do a little more grunting type talking with Colin ... lol sorry bro. Then we see more whānau - June Parata, Hariata, Hinemaui and Jesse just as were nearing the end of our hikoi, and theyre starting their walk. Pouariki Potiki Ngatai, Ill pick you up bro when we go for our next whānau hikoi - BAM!!! Mum and dad are still walking every morning since starting last week and mums leading the way, so very proud of them. Getting it done and bring on day 29 - TOOT TOOT!!!
