Ban OX - Cow leather, horn and bone items under KVIC financial assistance schemes because these are the bio product of the slaughter houses, which is covered under negative list of Gandhian ideology based Khadi and Village Industries Commission. The Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC) is a statutory body established by an Act of Parliament (No. 61 of 1956, as amended by act no. 12 of 1987 and Act No.10 of 2006. In April 1957, it took over the work of former All India Khadi and Village Industries Board, which was based on Gandhian ideology and philosophy, where as Ahinsa was the base factor of Gandhian theory but we are fighting hard against the unethical activities of the Institutions based on Gandhian ethos like KVIC. Let me tell you one thing, leather and bones are being procured from the slaughter houses, which is a bio product of slaughter houses, in fact slaughter houses are placed under the negative list of the KVIC and slaughter can not treated as activities of ahinsa then why Gandhian ideology based KVIC not trying to understand my feelings and believes? As per my knowledge, main source of leather, bones and thorns are the slaughter houses only, you can not get said items in a big numbers with out slaughter houses then why KVIC promoting these negative list activities openly, our regular complaints and objections are being ruled out by the KVIC, now we are fed up the functioning on unethical arguments and decisions of the KVIC, please treat this grievances as notice and you are requested to please depute some officers to discuss these issues in person with me, to explain my point of view, which is in the interest of Ahinsa, Gandhian ideology and philosophy. Please placed all leather, horn and bones activities under negative list and stop promoting these hisna based activities, spoiling image of Gandhi and KVIC.
