Banbridge Bathroom Centre sponsored all the collections of shoeboxes in the Co Down area and even as far as Dundalk. They opened their showroom as a drop off centre and what a response they got, from local schools, businesses and kindhearted people in the area like Kath Cosgrove 93 years young who donated 41 boxes.Patricia McArdle from Katesbridge also worked closely with Hugh at Banbridge Bathroom Centre, collecting boxes in her local school and parish, Patricia also arranged for Countrywide Couriers to deliver 11 pallets 1000 shoeboxes to us, bound for Hungary.What an achievement ,all we had to do was post the flyers,thank you Hugh, his wife Stephanie, family friends and staff for making our shoebox appeal so successful. Also thank you! arranging the picture with the big hitter Carl Frampton he was impressed as he gave us a mention on his Twitter account. Well done all!
