Band I was given: PragVEC - thanks to Richard Sanderson Did I see them live: Sadly no, Wikipedia notes they split up around the time of my 4th birthday. I was a precocious infant, admittedly but at the time I was more of a Fall fan. Do I like them: Well, lets have a listen to their first Peel Session on Youtube: youtube/watch?v=vfGdG7Y9odM ...this is good! Im a sucker for this sort of female-fronted jerky post-punk. The lyrics are hilarious - I particularly like the way they say BBC You! instead of cursing. The drummer is good, especially on the speeding-up and slowing-down parts on the song Ruby. I understand that this stuff hasnt been compiled or re-released on CD, which is a shame - Id love to hear a whole LP. Favourite song: So far, Bits. Like this &c &c.
