Bandipur truly rocking – There were days in the last 18+ months & even today that we would more often spot Prince, the Huge Male Tiger, however the situation has changed over a period of time. Friends it’s all happening in Bandipur, I am glad to share some good news that will surely make you all feel extremely happy, especially my Wildlife Enthusiast circle. I was fortunate to document few new tigers and one of them surely is massive probably bigger than Prince, in addition a small pack of wild dogs just the two of them - male and female, but believe me they are extremely ferocious and great hunters. And I was lucky to document this hunt in the open, the wild dogs brought a down a huge chital twice their own body weight, I still remember most of my images that I shot are displaying a blood bath. It was interesting to spot a young handsome male leopard on a tree, managed some unique shots of him, a large group of Gaurs (Indian bison), a few Sloth bears and icing on the cake was Changeable Hawk Eagle with Egret kill. Thanks to Team Jungle Lodges and Resorts, Bandipur for their excellent support in making my trip short though, a memorable one. After reading this post, I am sure many of you will pack your bags and head straight to Bandipur, and believe me it will be worthwhile to visit the park to capture all the action.
