Bands/DJ/Musicians - I cannot reiterate this enough - KNOW YOURSELVES! I mean this is something you would think is a simple concept. So a lot of people are probably out there shaking their heads...But seriously, there are bands that can tell you where and with who they recorded their cd but not when....Or that they played in a state/town but cant tell you where, who they shared the stage with or how the crowd turn out was....If you have a problem remembering details, start up a document on your computer/cell and put the details in there...or get the trusty old pen and paper....At some point if you dont already, youre going to need management and booking...And to sell you, they need to know you as good as you know yourself. Which means they need to know the bands history...Especially breaking into new markets not knowing where you played can effect your guarantee you get if not you getting a gig at all. So keep up to date on the stuff that goes on with your project, the people you will work with in the future will need to know!
