Bangs FBC Pre-Teen Camp July 6-10, 2014 Lake Brownwood Christian Retreat The cost is $175 and is due by June 30th. For kids who have completed 3rd- 6th Grades. Don’t Forget…. • Meet at Lake Brownwood Christian Retreat on Sunday, July 6 at 5:00 p.m. for FAMJAM! • Vans will leave FBC at 4:30 p.m. on July 6 • We will return to church on Thursday at 12:00 noon. Camper Checklist • Bring your Bible and pens or pencils • Fishing poles and gear if you would like to fish • twin size sheets (long) • blanket or sleeping bag • pillow • bath linens (towel, wash cloth) • personal toiletries • sunscreen • insect repellant • flashlight • refillable water bottle with the child’s name on it • tennis shoes (required for some recreational activities) • money for sodas & camp store • beach towel • bathing suit (girls-modest one piece or colored t-shirt over a 2 piece) • water shoes (for lake activities) • Do not bring cell phones, electronics, iPods, etc. Camp Activities Include… • Worship • Missions: Go & Tell • Daily Quiet Times • Bible Study Groups • Camp Fire Meetings • Volleyball • Basketball • Flag Football • Wood Works • Art Studio • Swimming • Canoeing • Fishing • Creative Worship • Ropes Course Prescription and Over the Counter (OTC) Medications All prescription medications must be in their original container. Please put them in a zip lock bag with your child’s name on it and give it to Heather McCullough before leaving on the van or upon arriving at FAMJAM. All medications must be surrendered to the Camp Health Officer upon arrival. All prescription medications are to be held in a lockable cabinet or other secure area not accessible to campers. The Camp Health Officer will be onsite and available as needed to dispense prescription medications. Note: Asthma inhalers or Epi-pens for severe allergic reactions may be kept by campers (or sponsors), but must be in their possession at all times. The first aid station stocks a wide variety of over-the-counter medications for headaches, stomach aches, insect bites/stings, rash, eye irritation, cough/congestion, etc. It is recommended that campers do not bring OTC medications to camp. Guest Mail/Phone Messages Guests may receive mail during their stay.
