Bank Employees Ant-Reform and against-Merger Strike called bt two major employees unions are called on 25.09.2013 and notice served to Govt of India.Govt has initiated an efforts for an another Financial Reform with 10 point prgramme issued by RBI last week. Bank employees are presently facing low salary issues since four years and now their salary revision 10 th Bipartite Settlement is due from November 2012. Bank employee’s demand is central govt employees at par salary from earning of banks itself, but govt is ignoring since 2010. Their demands seem to be genuine that from banks earning they are demanding salary and their salary is not increased from their own efforts earnings. Since decade no bank is in loss and earning goes to Govt. Announced strike is a residual strike when ever govt tried for reform in interest of nation. Bank employees unions are politically inclined and guided by their thoughts. It is history that bank employees unions called strike against Computerisation, Financial Reforms 1991 and many more progressive issues and after implementation the comfort was also reached to these employees. Govt has also provided allowances to bank employees for certain changes. Now it is observed that govt is in mood of better salary package and increase approx 35% in total and bank employees are needs to be agreeing for these reforms. Both govt and bank employees organizations are on verse of final salary revision settlement 10 th Bipartite and in final stage bargain play is going on. Mjaor bank employees unions AIBEA and BEFI has called strike mentioning the issues :  STOP BANKING SECTOR REFORMS  STOP MERGER AND CONSOLIDATION OF BANKS  DO NOT CLOSE DOWN ASSOCIATE BANKS  DE-LINK ASSOCIATE BANKS FROM SBI & MAKE THEM INDEPENDENT BANKS  STOP UNILATERAL IMPOSITION OF SERVICE CONDITIONS IN ASSOCIATE BANKS BY STATE BANK OF INDIA MANAGEMENT  STOP BANKING LICENCES TO CORPORATES AND BUSINESS HOUSES
