Banner update 8/1/14. It will be 2 months on Sunday since Banner went down. This week, we have gone to PT twice. Yesterday he did .33 miles in 12 minutes on the treadmill. We do cold laser at each PT. We have continued his swimming on alternate days..yes he is still giving me the stink eye in the pool. Today we saw Dr. Anger, chiropractic, acupuncture and cold laser. She gave him an Adoquin shot this week. The doctor said he is muscle sore as he is regaining mobility so will give him melodically in the evening. Meanwhile, his stability is improving, last night he wanted to chase his toy and he even tried to scratch, didnt get the leg up. One rear leg is much weaker, having muscle tremors in the rear legs. He is voluntarily going into the crate, wandering through the house with his crab walk when I leave his sight. Every one is delighted with his improvement and strong will. I worry he will reinjure himself so trying to keep a tight rein on him. Vet says he is vulnerable because he tries so hard. Thanks to Jill for posting the photo, Banner was a huge, powerful mover and my knees are infamously bad, put the first major on him..couldnt run and Jill took him to the finish. Banner is Ch.
