Bantry Bues 0-14 Clyda Rovers 2-9 A slow start cost Bantry dearly in this Division 2 league game at Wolfe Tone Park. The blues were down 1-2 to a point after 10 minutes and only had Ruairi Deanes accuracy from frees keeping them in the hunt in the 1st half as they went in trailing by 1-6 to 0-5. The blues were a transformed team in the second half with fantastic scores coming from David Power, Stephen Coughlan and Deane again. However just as Bantry hit the front they had another defensive lapse and conceded a second goal. Ruari Deane and Graham Canty tried to drive the team forward however it wasnt to be Bantrys day and they went down on a final score of 0-14 to 2-9. Best for the blues were Kenneth Deane, Stephen Coughlan, Ruairi Deane and David Power. Our next game is Premier intermediate Championship next Saturday night against Na Piarsaig in Dunmanway with a throw in time of 18.45.
