Baptism means In Christianity the term baptism is a religious sacrament marked by the symbolic application of water to the head or immersion of the body into water for the purification of the original sin and an admission of the recipient into the community of Christians. In John 1:29 The next day John saw Jesus coming toward him and said (to Jesus), “Look, the Lamb of God (Muhammad pbuh), who takes away the sin of the world! 30 This is the one I meant when I said, ‘A man who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’ 31 I MYSELF DID NOT KNOW HIM but the reason I came BAPTIZING with water was that HE MIGHT BE REVEALED to Israel. In John 1:31 Baptism means educating people thru the knowledge of Gods Revelation. Allah mentions in the Holy Quran Chapter 2 Surah Baqarah verses 135-138 135 They say: Become Jews or Christians if ye would be guided (to salvation). Say thou: Nay! (I would rather follow) the religion of Abraham the true; and he joined not gods with Allah. 136 Say ye: We believe in Allah, and the Revelation given to us, and to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the Tribes, and that given to Moses and Jesus and that given to (all) Prophets from their Lord; we make no difference between one and another of them, and we bow to Allah (in Islam). 137 So if they believe as ye believe they are indeed on the Right Path; but if they turn back it is they who are in schism; but Allah will suffice thee as against them and He is The All-Hearing, The All- Knowing. 138 (Our religion is) the baptism of Allah; and who can baptize better than Allah? and it is He whom we worship. Reading Quran with understanding is baptism There is no original sin: From Al-Muwatta Hadith 16.53 Every child is born on the fitra (pure and submissive to the will of Allah) and it is his parents who make him a Jew or a Christian. And it agrees when Jesus said to them, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.(Mark 10:14)
