That day, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest stated, The thoughts and prayers of those of us here at the White House are with the family of the general, are with the soldiers and the family of those who were injured in this attack. But that was it from the White House. An officer falls in a foreign field, the highest-ranking officer since 9/11, and Barack Obama himself has remained mum. Like his administrations cover-up of the Benghazi attack in 2012, this green on blue attack doesnt fit Obamas foreign policy narrative.
