Barb “I was a lifelong Democrat, and after January of this year when my rights were once again stomped on, I had had enough and began the fight to restore them. I am holding my elected officials’ feet to the fire and demanding they honor the oath of office they took. One of the steps I did to ensure that my voice was heard was switching my electoral registration to become a Republican. I know now in June of 2014, my vote will count for choosing a constitutional leader for the role as Governor of New York State. Only Republicans can take part in the Republican primaries. Steve McLaughlin, a Republican Assemblyman, is the man for the job. It only took a few conversations to help me make the decision to change parties. I believe in Steve, and you should too. Time is running out if you’re going to switch, you have to do it before October 11, 2013 of this year.”
