Barclays Center CEO Brett Yormark said Thursday that the New York Islanders will not change their team colors when they move to Brooklyn in 2015. According to a tweet from Islanders and Rangers beat writer Christian Arnold of the New York Hockey Journal, Yormark said the team will keep the current color scheme of royal blue, orange and white but the team will in fact look to add a badge and a third jersey that “speaks to Brooklyn.” Although more details weren’t immediately available, it’s possible the team adopts a scheme similar to the black and white colors adorned by the Barclays Center’s first tenants, the Brooklyn Nets
