Bark in the Park at Cannon Hill Park in aid of the Retired West Midlands Police Dog Benevolent Fund. Hundreds of people attended the Bark in the Park event at Cannon Hill Park over the weekend in aid of the Retired West Midlands Police Dog Benevolent Fund. The two day event featured West Midlands Police dog demonstrations, West Midlands Fire Service dog demonstrations, Guide dog demonstrations and Paws For Thought Dog Display Team who demonstrate agility including jumping through fire hoops and much more. All the money raised from the event will all go towards helping families with retired West Midlands Police Dogs. It will help pay for veterinary care for the dogs who are now pets with members of the public. The fund is also aiming to create a memorial garden at the kennels in honour of the police dogs who are no longer with us.
