Barn owl project 2014 central Jawa Indonesia. Rats can destroy 40-50% of the harvest. Local gun hunters killed all raptors. No regulation. No natural balance and farmers of the rice fields use lots of poison. Shame on the government who doesnt care. So we breed owls ourselves and rehabilitate them. The project is a big succes. Finally the balance is back and more farmers are interested. Thanks to RCI and all people who are involved!!
