Barrels, trails and some light reining! Dixie Paints of Mountainboro Al. $2700.00. 2008 solid APHA reg GOLD CHAMPAGNE mare. All paper work in hand. Whata Exotic Storm. AKA Stormy. 14 hand chunk of POWER AND MUSCLE! HYPP N/H. Pedigree on Allbreedpedigree She is a beautiful golden champagne that glistens in the sunlight with dark amber-gold eyes! Her bloodlines include: Three Bars, Skipper W, Mr Norfleet, Doc Bar, Poco Bueno and Impressive. Neg. Coggins in hand, current on hoof care, vaccinations, de-worming. Loads, ties, bathes, good with farrier. Has been shod in the past, currently bare foot as she is not getting rode but is up to date on hoof care. Stormy was sold as a 3 year old and started in the direction in hopes of making a cow horse. She really didnt have the drive or desire to get down and work a cow. She had some light reining training put on her at this time as well. She was then sent in the direction of barrels. She was started right - trotting and loping the pattern. She picked up quickly and was consistently making 18 & 19 second times with ease and not being pushed at the time and seemed to enjoy it. She had a super fast take off and needs an experienced rider to be continued on barrels. She was also used around the farm and trail ridden through out all this to give her an easy enjoyable use. She has tons of trail mileage! The original owner ( current owner) then purchased her back. She has pretty much been on pasture for a little over a year now. Plans changed in her program so Stormy is being offered for sale. She has never been bred. Stormy was pulled out of the pasture and brought to our farm for the video and photos. She is out of shape, out of tune and has not been ridden in a while at the time we made the video. She needs a few weeks solid riding to get her back in shape and responsive to cues. She knows her ground work- lounge, send, yield, direction change, back away and come to you. She stands to be groomed, saddled and mounted. Rides off with no trouble. I got her to side pass both directions but you could tell she was rusty. She responded and backed well under saddle and has a good stop! It would not take much to have her sliding to a stop once again. She is grass fat; been out on pasture all summer & has not been fed. She is a very easy keeper! Owner says for barrels she suggest an experienced rider as she can be quick. She will need tuning up / getting in shape. She is easy to get along with. She pastures well with other horses, usually one of the first to meet you and doesnt cause a fuss. More photos and videos on our website raftercfarm.sharepoint 2568789747
