Barrera was my best fighter. I was extremely desapointed when he loose the second time to Junior Jones. But Jones was a poison to so many fighters... But even in disapointement of the second fight, we coud see that he began to change his style. From an intelligent brawler to a complete technician. Thats what made a champion : to adapt. In his bloody fight whith Morales, we could see his really potential. In his Hamed fight, we saw how smart he is, because, dont forget, àt that time, Hamed was the biggest puncher in activity, in any weight. And how difficult it was to Just touch him, those who saw this fight, àt that time, couldnt believe their eyes! Marco beat any challenge faced at that time, then came Pacquiao The catastrophe. From the start he feel not just his power, but his speed and his perfect boxing ability! He fought bravely, but try to avoid a ko loss in searching for discalification. (In the 10 ) For that, many people talked dirty about him. I dont like that, but just to remind that there is no greater shame than to be kayoed in front of his people! For a pride boxer, Its like a rape! After many believed him finished, he came back stronger in his Ayala fight. And the third Morales fight. Did a very good performance against Marquez, even if, like in the third Morales fight, he was tieed in the end. But a prime Barrera would have been more dangerous for both. But, what really mark his career, I think is the Pacquiao rematch, who for me he won. Totaly différent than the first. Even Manny wasnt as bloody then we know. But Marco shpwed the true champion he was. A legend.
