Barry Awad also known as Kid Galahad is heading towards another important professional fight and is so far in his career undefeated. I have been to two of his professional fights and i have no doubts he will inshallah soon be a world champion. Barry is an aggressive fighter with brilliant technical skills. However it is his intelligence inside the ring and speed of hand and foot that cause his opponents the most problems. The experience gained from a successful amateur career has undoubtedly helped form his fantastic ability to get in and out of distance, and knowledge of when in, and not in, punching range. A boxer must possess these abilities if he realistically wants to become world champion. Barry, puts his punches together with intelligence, mixing hard combinations to the head and body with nice to watch skills. It is a very difficult ask for a boxer to demonstrate such artistic ability, but twice , i watched Barry handle it with ease, he is a great performer under pressure and hence why i believe he is a champion in the making. One thing more i admire this young man for is his ability so far not to allow his boxing success get into his head. He maintains his character with such humility which will makes him an example to follow to millions of young people around the world. Lets all support him to re-egnite Sheffield as the successful boxing capital of British Yemenis.
