Bart update: Visited Bart today for several hrs. Bart has made unbelieable progress, still a very long, long way to a total recovery, and becoming his normal self. The first thing he asked me was,..Did you know that Dad passed away?...yes, Bart, that happened a while back, several years...He thought it just happened. Though emotional, I explained, as Philip had already explained this to him earlier. He accepted it and was ok. Bart is very anxious to get home, (probably within the next 10 to 15 days) yet is very cooperative with the Doctors telling him not yet...Bart told me when I asked, the birthdays to every sibling (all 8 of us) including Mom and Dad. For me he is still about 5 plus years from where he needs to be, yet,...he is soooo much further along than we had ever felt he would be. Bart is going to be required to have 24/7 care for who knows how long when he is able to come home. Prayers are definitely needed to get Bart back to his normal self. Thank you everyone for the cards, stuffed animals, etc...and thank you Philip, our (baby) brother for taking charge with everything,...There has not been one day,...not one day that Philip has not been either at the hospital, or the rehab...wow...I personally like to nominate Philip Peerce as Brother of the Year
