Baruch Dayan Emet. One of my favorite singers of all time, Chava Alberstein came to my campus at University of Florida. Her song about the importance of silence reflects how I felt visiting my family last night as we mourned together the loss of my cousin Yuval Tel-Nir son of Yuyu and Ram Tel-nir who was only 22 when he did in a tragic rafting accident in Peru over Sukkot. Yuval had a promising medical career and learned in Hadassah Medical College as part of his army service. The funeral will be tomorrow in Tel Aviv in the early afternoon before Simchat Torah.
